How to Rejoin

About Membership in Bellaire Young Mothers

 
Membership in Bellaire Young Mothers is only $30 per calendar year. 
Please read our eligibility requirements before submitting your application.

Membership Eligibility 
Membership in Bellaire Young Mothers is available to all moms or expectant moms. Applicants do not have to reside in the City of Bellaire, but must understand that a majority of the in-person events take place in Bellaire, West University, and Meyerland areas. While there are no age requirements for children, most activities are for children ages 5 and under.
 
Requirements of Members
Bellaire Young Mothers is a very active moms group.  We plan many events and activities of interest for our members in addition to having a strong online community.  All benefits of BYM are equally available to all members.

To continue to provide a variety of activities, events and community service activities, we do have suggested requirements for membership. 

All members are strongly encouraged to participate in and "give back" to the group.  Below are some examples of ways to meet the membership participation requirement for each membership year:

  • Serve in a volunteer position on the BYM Board or Sub-Committee.
  • Serve as a Playgroup Leader.
  • Volunteer at one of the BYM coordinated events throughout the year.
  • Host a meeting of a BYM subgroup.  (Book Club, Foodie Group, etc.)

Rejoin BYM as a Returning Member

Instructions on how to rejoin

 
For your application to rejoin to go smoothly, you must follow these instructions.  Failure to do so will result in your application being delayed for additional processing or denied. 
 
If your membership expired within the last year:
  1. Log in to the website using your current username and password.
  2. **If you do not remember your username and password, please use the reset password link to receive a temporary password.
  3. Look for a "renewal" link in the upper right corner under the header.
  4. ** If you do not have a renewal or payment link after you have logged in, please follow the instruction in the next section and complete a new application.
  5. Click that link and follow the renewal instructions.
  6. When choosing a Membership Type - you MUST choose "Returning Member - Kids over age 5"
  7. Make payment with your credit card.
  8. Your membership will be immediately reactivated.

If your membership expired prior to last year:
  1. A new application will be required. 
  2. When choosing a Member Type - you MUST choose "Returning Member - Kids over age 5"
  3. Failure to choose the correct member type will result in delay or denial of your application.
  4. Complete the application to rejoin.
  5. Your application will require approval and may take up to 10 days to review.
  6. Once the application has been verified, including zip code and your prior membership status, you will receive an email with instructions for completing payment. 
  7. Make payment with your credit card and your membership will become active again at that time.
