Annual Halloween Party and Easter Egg Hunt

Every year, BYM plans family-fun events for kids! Around October, we host an annual Halloween party with games, bouncy houses, arts and crafts, costume contests, and, of course, candy. In the Spring, we coordinate an Easter Egg Hunt where children can participate in an exciting egg race without the usual crowds. To encourage safety during a pandemic, BYM has planned creative socially distant versions of these events. Monthly Kids’ Events

In addition to the large annual kids’ events, BYM coordinates a variety of smaller-scale, kid-friendly events every month for families to enjoy. Join us for cooking classes, pottery painting, police and fire department tours, movies, sports classes, and more. There is something for almost everyone! 

Many of these activities are generally designed for children ages 5 and under, but some are designated for “Big Kids” who are elementary school age and older. While most events tend to be in or around Bellaire for convenience, ease, and fun, some events like feeding the police horses are worth the drive. Check-out the BYM Calendar for upcoming events! Playgroups

BYM has been well known for our members-only playgroup network. Although playgroups are organized around children’s ages, playgroups are really not for babies. Playgroups are vital to our moms for support and sanity! It is a more intimate way to connect with moms who are going through a similar journey of motherhood. 

There are a variety of playgroups to consider. While most playgroups meet weekly, others meet monthly. Some playgroups meet during the day on weekdays, and others meet on the weekends. Some playgroups prefer no siblings while others welcome siblings. Overall, playgroups can vary based on the needs and desires of the members in that group. Consider joining a playgroup today!
